Stoke Lodge Primary School

Social, Emotional and Wellbeing

Being a parent or carer is a tough job and can sometimes feel like a rollercoaster ride.

We know that family life can sometimes be challenging.

We strive to support children and families who may need a bit of extra support and guidance. Working in partnership with you we aim to develop children’s wellbeing, whether helping with friendships, transition, bereavement, family break up, anxiety or anything else that may be causing a barrier to their learning or wellbeing.

We have a specialist team at Stoke Lodge who are specifically trained to support you and your family’s social and emotional wellbeing and mental health. If you feel you would like to talk to a member of the team, please do not hesitate to contact the school.

Mrs Dani James – Pastoral Lead, Family Link Worker, ELSA practitioner, Sand Tray Therapy Specialist and Attendance Lead

Mrs Angela Peregreen – ELSA practitioner

Mrs Lucy Todd – Inclusion Lead/SENCo and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead

Mr Will Ferris – Headteacher and Designated Safeguarding Lead

Mrs Sarah Reeves – Deputy Headteacher and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead

As a school we work with many outside agencies, there can signpost you in the right direction for additional help and advice, if we are unable to support at school level.
