Welcome to Greece Class!

Welcome to Greece class. I am looking forward to the incredibly exciting year ahead.  When I am not in school, I love to get outdoors. I enjoy running, especially trail running, and orienteering as I can discover new places. Another passion of mine is cooking. I like experimenting with cuisines from different parts of the world - perhaps that is the scientist in me! I also love reading so when relaxing at home, I always have at least two books on the go.

I am delighted that we will start the year being Scientists learning about different materials and forces. Later you will transform into historians, where we will learn about the Ancient Greeks and local history during The Victorian Era. Alongside this, you will develop your sketching skills and to draw then make Greek artefacts using clay. These are just some of the exciting things we will learn in Year 5.

We are so excited to embark on our journey of curiosity with you all this year in our themes this academic year as part of our Curious Curriculum.
