Social, emotional and wellbeing

Being a parent or carer is a tough job and can sometimes feel like a rollercoaster ride. Our parents tell us that family life can sometimes be challenging.

We strive to support children and families who may need a bit of extra support and guidance. Working in partnership with you we aim to develop children’s wellbeing, whether helping with friendships, transition, bereavement, family break up, anxiety or anything else that may be causing a barrier to their learning or wellbeing.

We have a specialist team at Stoke Lodge who look after the social and emotional wellbeing of our children.  The team consists of Mrs Luke (SENDco), Mrs Hartry (Deputy Child Protection Officer) and Mrs Prior (Pastoral Support) and they can also support parents and carers with a range of issues.  If you feel you would like to talk to a member of the S.E.W Team, please do not hesitate to contact the school.

As a school we work with many outside agencies so we can sign post you in the right direction for more help and advice. Please contact the school office for further advice.
